Fabrication

The estimated size of the sculpture illustrated in The Conquering of Inner Chaos is 16’ high x 32’ wide, comprised of 1.5” diameter steel tubes welded together to a 4” x 4" square arch, spliced so the whole sculpture comes apart in two sections for transport. The welded steel will be grind down and powder coated in bright metallic gold or finish with the metal flaking paint technique used for automobiles. Finishes for different sculptures may change given the visual demands of a particular environment.

The sculptures will be mounted into the ground within a raised circular frame, which will then be filled and covered with shredded black rubber playground surface, made of 100% recycled tires.
